Grant is another of the celebs currently gracing my town. He is staying at the hotel I used to work at, and apparently when room service knocked (to check minibar - used to be my favourite part of that job) he opened the door and yelled 'Why don't you just fuck off!' at the guy. Heh, effete english swearing is funny.

He was very good in both Bridget Jones' Diary and About a Boy (admittedly the same character in both films for the most part). He is quite attractive when he is not being foppish and idiotic.

I really don't know oops. I think he would have, if hugh had asked before yelling. We pretty much had to. We even had to believe guests if they said they had nothing from the minibar, even if they stank of tiny booze and had faces smeared in overpriced chocolate.

My opinion on Mr Grant hasn't differed muh from what I said here.

He'll be in the next Bridget Jones film because he was in the last one, no? I don't remember his character being in the second book, (I read it when it came out, on holiday, in about four hours, so my memory of it may not be entirely reliable) but I do remember Colin Firth (as Colin Firth) being in it, so I imagine some liberties are going to have to be taken with the film adaptation of the book since Colin Firth will be otherwise engaged in the film being not Colin Firth. Or something.

Anyway, what are we confirming or denying?

Best bit of it is the Daily Mail feature from about 10 days ago where the ex-pap/pub landlord sells the story of HG visiting the pub and stiffing the house for two pints. Tape recorder visible peeking out of jacket pocket in all the pics, Mail has egg on its face because it did not connect ex-pap to NOTW.
