He'll be in the next Bridget Jones film because he was in the last one, no? I don't remember his character being in the second book, (I read it when it came out, on holiday, in about four hours, so my memory of it may not be entirely reliable) but I do remember Colin Firth (as Colin Firth) being in it, so I imagine some liberties are going to have to be taken with the film adaptation of the book since Colin Firth will be otherwise engaged in the film being not Colin Firth. Or something.
Anyway, what are we confirming or denying?

I think it was Heat I read it in though. I've now remembered things involving Daniel Cleaver keeping hanging around at inopportune moments, and something involving standing in a wheelie bin.

Hugh Grant takes time out of his punishing schedule of starring in middling Hollywood romantic comedies to interview an ex-News of the World hack. With a hidden tape recorder.

As an outsider, I find the image of David Cameron dressing up as "The Stig" to be pathetically hilarious.

i've always thought hugh's wickedly adept at delivering a poor script with enough verve to make it something special. this piece is great.

Best bit of it is the Daily Mail feature from about 10 days ago where the ex-pap/pub landlord sells the story of HG visiting the pub and stiffing the house for two pints. Tape recorder visible peeking out of jacket pocket in all the pics, Mail has egg on its face because it did not connect ex-pap to NOTW.
