For the benefit of people in offices:
.. So that when you look at history, you don't see web page titles like "Did Rebecca Loos really masturbate a pig on live TV?" (which I'm dying to read, but can't at work.)

That is - default the < TITLE > tag to "Really important business that is essential to job" ..

k-thanks.

This would be nice.

Then how would you tell the title of the thread if you have multiple windows open, and all scrolled down to the new answers?

That would be a drawback for those people who do that.. But that's why it would just be an option.

I'd be all for it.

At this point you have other, more serious problems to worry about, I think.

You, uh, know that you can erase your history, right?

Actually, I wasn't thinking about the history bit, just the title at the top of the page. One too many times, I've had a box at the bottom of my screen that said FUCK...

#1 - I don't want to erase history because then I can't find other things I want to find.
#2 - if network admin snoop wants to review history for Carlin's forbidden words, clearing history at the end of the day int gwon help.

1) You can hit Ctrl-H and selectively delete the ones that you don't want people to notice.

2) What Tombot said. If they're monitoring what you're looking at, changing the thread titles isn't gonna help you much.

1 - how often?
2 - mm-hmm. is too.
