Perhaps we are doing things differently in Fengersfors, but in my youth this celebration was the occasion for much bloodletting as child, and mothers used to put coprsepaint on little children and set them free in the streets. You did not give us sweet or cake when we came knocking? Then you will locking your windows my friend. When I was little, I used to get dressed up and go trick or treating. One year, as Halloween season was just around the corner, my dad decided that Halloween is EVIL and that we couldn't celebrate it any more (ie: my relatives always thought that and they finally got to him). But by the time Halloween swung around he'd changed his mind and said I could still trick or treat.
