I just saw Mike Gordon from Phish jog by me in a ridiculous orange jogging outfit

His hair's all gray now and it looks like jogging is never going to work for him. It was strange seing him come closer and closer. I almost said, "Hey Mike!" or "Mike Gordon!" or something and then realized I'm not that kind of person and never have been. Still, it would have been fun to see his reaction. I'm sure he likes to get recognized.

Was he being chased by an angry mob of Hell's Angels?

No, he was barely jogging, though. He was doing the wandering head/eyes thing to avoid eye contact with anyone on the street. In the 3 or 4 seconds I saw him I got a profile as he looked to the street, the top of his head as he looked at the ground, his other profile as he looked at the building and finally as he passed me, I saw the front of his face... and he was doing that "far away" look you learn when you walk the halls in high school without looking at anyone.

Was he chasing after a little girl on a Segway?

I am sad because apparently Leo Keottke (who has collaborated with Gordon) played here last night and I missed it.

I saw Chris Eubank standing between his enormous Hummer and a petrol pump looking confused.

Did he have the Gareth/phone look, B.?

I saw Chris Noth (North?) from Sex In the City last Saturday. He's tall and he looks angry. And he wears what appear to be Old Navy clothes.

In retrospect, I realize Phish's drummer has been one of my favorite drummers of the past 15 years. If not for him (and the ganja gooballs EL OH EL), I doubt I'd have had nearly as good a time at any of those shows.
