What books influenced the late hip-hop artist Tupac Shakur? Join a series of book discussions led by University of Washington English instructor, Georgia Roberts.

The work of several writers will be discussed along with Tupac's lyrics and poetry to better understand his work.

3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, featuring the poetry of Nikki Giovanni
3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, featuring "Native Son," by Richard Wright
