Escape from Monkey Island is available on PS2 for cheap and it's fun, if you like adventure games. There is also monkey karate involved.

If you're really being completist, the "George of the the Jungle 2" DVD does feature a vine-surfing video game as an extra bonus for the kids. George is a primate and was raised by apes, so you might say he's an "ape man" and therefore deserves inclusion.

There's a 'dodge the monkey shit' game in THPS4, and Disney Extreme Skate Adventure (which uses the THPS engine) lets you play as an ape out of Tarzan (I think - if not there is a whole 'rescue the monkeys' level anyway).
