just found out that a friend was diagnosed with hepatitis-c today. me being me, i (after consoling him, of course) immediately checked online to look for ways that it can be transmitted... i shared bongs with him when i used to smoke a couple years ago and i used his deodorant stick a couple weeks ago. those turn out to not be risk factors in 99.99% of instances-- contrary to my general sense of impending doom. my girlfriend, on the other hand, has shared straws with him to snort coke with. which is a known risk factor. she is getting tested tomorrow... so who has experience or knowledge they can share? i've read stuff on line, looking for more testimonial style info or contrarian medical points of view...
