ICII -- That's, what, 100 - 1 + 2 = 101? Couldn't they just call themselves CI and simplify things?

No advice but good luck!

It doesn't matter what you say; they'll base all their decisions entirely upon how you look.

Wear all black, obviously.

I find it very bizarre that there is only one place in the whole of Canada that sells Comme Des Garcons.

do not suggest that comme d'garcon = boys come

Queen Good luck with the interview, Wednesday, 13 October 2004 09:49 (twenty-one years ago)

It's Comme des Garçons. If you can memorize how to spell Rei Kawakubo you're in there. If it's a mixed boutique just speak knowledgeably about fashion in a low-key way. They'll ask you about designers to break the ice.

suzy (suzy), Wednesday, 13 October 2004 10:24 (twenty-one years ago)

I'd have to start by memorising how to pronounce it.

Ed (dali), Wednesday, 13 October 2004 10:29 (twenty-one years ago)

Isn't there a place on Maisonneuve in Montreal that sells Comme Des Garcons?

antexit (antexit), Wednesday, 13 October 2004 10:37 (twenty-one years ago)

I assumed this was a thread about food.

Sick Mouthy (Nick Southall), Wednesday, 13 October 2004 11:31 (twenty-one years ago)

You are to stop eating boys.

Alba (Alba), Wednesday, 13 October 2004 11:45 (twenty-one years ago)

i wore all black, he asked me questions that i flubbed on (i only knew 3 belgians and 3 japanese designers), he asked me what i wore (i actually said goodwill), he said i had a look, he seemed confused, and said he would call me in 3 weeks.

i dont even know if it went well.
(i mispornunced rei's last name, and i couldnt remeber the last name of ana)

i felt like an idiot

anthony, Wednesday, 13 October 2004 19:23 (twenty-one years ago)

You can never tell. I'm sure he didn't think you're an idiot.

Did he really ask you to name Belgians?

Alba (Alba), Wednesday, 13 October 2004 20:41 (twenty-one years ago)

icii is the only place in Canada that sells like a boy?

I met Rei Kawakubo in Paris in 1988. She's a bit odd, she is.

Michael White (Hereward), Wednesday, 13 October 2004 21:51 (twenty-one years ago)

Actually that should be "sells like boys" 'cause the line is Comme des Garçons.
