What do you do when you email your ex (who you are still madly in love with)

to say 'I can't email you anymore because it's not doing either of us any good, but I miss you, thank you for the time we had together and I love you, be happy' and you think that will be the end of it... but then they email you back to say 'yeah that email made me both happy and sad, I look back on our time together with happiness, too, I hope you're well' which SHOULD be the end of it, but then you want to email them again because remember, you really are still in love with them and it's difficult to let go, even though you know you should? I hate love.

oh you poor thing, i really feel for you, i have been in the exact same position. in the end i told him i couldn't have any contact with him at all, no phones or emails or even bumping into each other at the pub (thus meaning i had to limit the pubs i went to for quite a while because i live in a smallish city). it was difficult and sad but all those cliches are true, time heals all (well, most) wounds.

Alba OTM sadly. If its not going anywhere then its only going to make you both miserable. There's nothing worse than stirring up the past when you know its going to hurt you.

Add a rule to your email package that stops outgoing email to that address but, and here's the clever bit, do it while your incredibly drunk so you don't remember doing it then you'll start thinking she doesnt care anywayas as she never replies.
