Anyone been to Baghdad? Is it worse than London? Are the people nicer?

Seriously, the danger of being shot nonwithstanding - London is, I guess, pretty safe to walk around in. There's the danger of being shot in Baghdad too of course... but what city looks/ smells/ feels worse? Does anyone want to join me to write a book called "Capital cities that are worse than London?"
