i'm just back from Poland so I brought in some sweets and did the "I'm back from holidays" and "it's my birthday" in one!

I have never drunk in the Nelson or shopped at Matalan! My mate used to work for Zenith Windows in Cowley Centre and said that when he used to go in the Nelson at lunch time with his workmate it used to go really, really quiet - he thought it was coz they were the only ppl wearing suits and the rest of the punters thought they were policemen.

I have a pressie from my mum to open which I have been saving since two weeks ago!

I have a card on my desk signed by lots of ppl. I don't know who half of them are :)

It has a golfer on it and the legend reads "Hope today goes with a swing". Those ppl who signed the card whom I actually know have tended to write comments along the lines of "didn't know you played golf".
