agreed!

adam. (nordicskilla), Sunday, 17 October 2004 13:04 (twenty-one years ago)

er, not quite.
staying up late is the new waking up early, really.

t\'\'t (t\'\'t), Sunday, 17 October 2004 13:06 (twenty-one years ago)

I woke up rather early this morning - or at least early for a sunday morning - and felt kinda embarrassed, because I was lying next to a half-naked girl, with whom I'd done all sorts of things I shouldn't have.

Tuomas (Tuomas), Sunday, 17 October 2004 13:10 (twenty-one years ago)

I do this now too. I think it means I am old. i would still be asleep if the cat hadn't decided it was time for me to wake up, though.

kyle (akmonday), Sunday, 17 October 2004 13:11 (twenty-one years ago)

i've been staying up late and waking up early. it's not good. i've got mild insomnia and a sudden inability to sleep past 8am. i suspect that alcohol isn't helping the situation.

lauren (laurenp), Sunday, 17 October 2004 13:23 (twenty-one years ago)

What things should you not do with a half-naked girl? If I ever encounter one, I will need to know.

Ally C (Ally C), Sunday, 17 October 2004 13:27 (twenty-one years ago)

Let's say that there was nothing wrong with the things we did themselves, but the place and the timing could've been better...

Tuomas (Tuomas), Sunday, 17 October 2004 13:34 (twenty-one years ago)

On a traffic island, during the evening rush hour?

Ally C (Ally C), Sunday, 17 October 2004 13:35 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh, nothing so exciting. I won't go into detail because this thing is too fresh in the mind, and I still want to contact the girl.

Tuomas (Tuomas), Sunday, 17 October 2004 13:40 (twenty-one years ago)

DID YOU DO A WEE IN HER FLANGE

GARU G, Sunday, 17 October 2004 14:21 (twenty-one years ago)

Now I understand.

Ally C (Ally C), Sunday, 17 October 2004 14:21 (twenty-one years ago)

How early is early?

How late is late?

How soon is now? Actually I don't care about that in the slightest.

I got up around 9:19am, I just missed the end of Yu-Gi-Oh, oh well. The same thing happens every week in that show, and their heads are too big.

jel -- (jel), Sunday, 17 October 2004 14:28 (twenty-one years ago)

Went to bed at 11:00pm last night, up at 7:45am.

A Million Talking Hot Dogs (AaronHz), Sunday, 17 October 2004 14:41 (twenty-one years ago)

I like to be productive. Waking up early does nothing for me in this department. I get all my best work (and play) done after 10pm.

Smokin' funk by the boxes (kenan), Sunday, 17 October 2004 14:43 (twenty-one years ago)

I went to bed at 2.30am the other night, and woke up at 12.30pm. That annoyed me.

Ally C (Ally C), Sunday, 17 October 2004 14:47 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm pretty much like Lauren, these days sleeping past 9:30 is becoming a rare thing, so I always think twice before staying up late. Once you start wondering whether it's worth it, it's probably time to go home...

Baaderoni (Fabfunk), Sunday, 17 October 2004 14:53 (twenty-one years ago)

this is old person's talk! night owls are always sexier than early birds.

Kim (Kim), Sunday, 17 October 2004 14:58 (twenty-one years ago)

Haha, I got up at 1.10 today.

Wooden (Wooden), Sunday, 17 October 2004 15:00 (twenty-one years ago)

Ideally, I would like to get up late and go to bed early, and take an afternoon nap. Being awake is too sapping.

jel -- (jel), Sunday, 17 October 2004 15:01 (twenty-one years ago)

I only went to bed early cuz I got high.

A Million Talking Hot Dogs (AaronHz), Sunday, 17 October 2004 15:04 (twenty-one years ago)

Afromaaron!

Alba (Alba), Sunday, 17 October 2004 15:13 (twenty-one years ago)

This is really odd. I woke up at 10 this morning and was not tired for some strange reason (i usually try to sleep til at least noon) and started doing all the things I needed to do.

So yes, it is!

Adam Bruneau (oliver8bit), Sunday, 17 October 2004 15:31 (twenty-one years ago)

four years pass...

This is ridiculous. My parents better appreciate the fact that I hauled my ass out of bed at 5 a.m. so that I could make it to their place by noon. Grrrr. It's still dark out! :-( It's just not right.

I've been up before noon 2 days in a row now. I feel like a real adult.

Nate Carson, Wednesday, 24 December 2008 20:38 (seventeen years ago)

waking up early is the old "i'm getting old"

Your heartbeat soun like sasquatch feet (polyphonic), Wednesday, 24 December 2008 20:58 (seventeen years ago)

ohhh noes. IMO There is no joy in awaking in the cold harsh darkness before the sun rises. Better to sleep in and relax as much as possible, and enjoy the warmth of bed until a more civilized hour of 11am before thinking of arising. Life's little inconveniences like WORK/JOB cause us to rise and "shine" at unreasonable hours, so whenever possible (holidays) it is prudent to have a proper lie-in so to refresh oneself in mind spirit and body.
