Pictures without pop ups

Certain internet browser programs, such as Mozilla or Opera, have features which allow you to block pop-ups. I use Opera, and if I hit the f12 key, I get a choice - accept popups, refuse popups, or open popups in background. Possibly IE has a similar function that you could look for, but I kind of doubt it.
