I drove past a signpost for a local maize maze yesterday. Frankly, I think "corn maze" is a much better name.

(must remember to visit Julian's Bower, the septenary labyrinth at Alkborough, near Scunthorpe. Have been meaning to since I moved back here, about six months ago)

Looks like he's cultivating the beginnings of a mullet, too.

There were a lot of corn mazes in NC, I always wanted to go to one. I assume there must be billions here in the midwest.

I think they photoshopped the exit out to prevent cheating, but I'm sorta hoping it doesn't have one

we did a corn maze this summer. it was wizard of oz themed, with questions about the film for bonus points.

someone i was with decided to pick some corn and take it home to cook it. he hid it in his coat, and managed to drop it all on the way out, in front of the people collecting money. he'd missed the sign that said something like 'if you'd like to take any corn away, just donate 10p each here' or whatever. it was pretty funny. but then again, it was only 2pm and we'd been drinking cava in the sea for a while, so it could have been that we were just a bit drunk.

the corn was totally gross when he cooked it, too.

my lesson? don't pick the corn.

Dude, if that's phallic you need to see a doctor. Knobbly.

I went to a corn maze last year, it was pretty fun. You weren't supposed to steal and eat the corn, not because it would have been wrong, but because it was feed corn and not for human consumption.

Stress is being in the middle of one of these as the sun is setting attempting to locate & wrangle up three five year old boys.

three months pass...
I have finally managed to visit the maze I mentioned upthread. Photos to appear on the photoBritain thread, once I've uploaded them.
