Just stumbled upon a couple here in Helsinki:
From a Finnish chef's cookbook and made by a friend: Marinated Tomato (in sugar, vanilla, cardamom, clove, ginger) stuffed with Rosemary Panacotta and topped with Crumbled Black Olive and Crushed Rock Sugar.
My own creation: Thai Basil Ice Cream with Savoury Chili Sauce (clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cardamom, salt, butter, palm sugar, red chilis). Hot and sweet.
In both cases, I'm falling over with the odd juxtaposition of flavours. Nice combinations, each of them, really. Nouvelle cuisine obviously, but I'll take it when it comes to dessert.
Others have similar dessert experiences/recipes?

I just made a green tomato pie. It's like an apple pie, but with green tomatoes. It's surprising and good.

Sounds excellent. Green tomatoes are notoriously difficult to get up here (as are ripe ones, actually). Will try if I find some elsewhere.
