Anyone actually read this yet? I didn't even know it existed until I was bumbling around the NY Times.com book reviews tonight.

That was a terrible review.

And the actual book is even worse. Crack-addled monkeys make more sense than this lucky-as-hell "bass player."

I met him not too long ago when he was giving a lecture about his ideas for political reform. He has a wonky idea about "superdistricts", as I recall, basically reinventing proportional representation -- all well and good, but he made a simple idea seem really complicated, and he seemed to think it was a panacea.

But, you know, a nice guy, and if he can help make elections reform a hot issue, then more power to him.

it'd be funny if this book inspires someone to try and throw the book up in the air and catch it but it instead it lands on their head.
