Yeah, Okay, But Remember This: That Second Term Can Be A Doozy!

Just ask Clinton. Here's hoping Dubya gets it from all sides. Lawsuits, Senate hearings, an anti-war movement out for blood. He may be wishing he had lost Ohio by the end of it. Iraq ain't going anywhere for a while. In the meantime, maybe the dems can get a clue and the "sane" members of the g.o.p. can find a way to take their party back from the neocon artists. (i'm a little hungover. i go away now.)

Raymond Cummings (Raymond Cummings), Wednesday, 3 November 2004 16:19 (twenty-one years ago)

Someone do me a big favor and shoot Ralph Nader. Just on principle, please.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Wednesday, 3 November 2004 16:20 (twenty-one years ago)

More Presidents are impeached, or have impeachment attempted on them (i can't remember exactly that works), in their second term than any other time.

Huk-L, Wednesday, 3 November 2004 16:20 (twenty-one years ago)

i have no doubt that this second term will mean extreme doom for the US. and that most of that will be bush's fault. but that isn't going to make it any more fun to live through. i just hope that the retarded poor conservatives who voted on their "moral values" find a way for their faith to sustain them. cause being unemployed and uninsured is not going to provide them much sustenance.

There's obviously a collective energy that feels the need to strike back, but what do we all Bush-haters do with it? Is there a way to consolidate and pummel?

mcd (mcd), Wednesday, 3 November 2004 16:20 (twenty-one years ago)

Buy foreign goods?

jocelyn (Jocelyn), Wednesday, 3 November 2004 16:22 (twenty-one years ago)

i hope demos are being planned (inc. in London) - who cares whether they achive anything, there has to be a sustained VISIBLE resistance/expression of contempt.

Freelance Hiveminder (blueski), Wednesday, 3 November 2004 16:23 (twenty-one years ago)

I think Bushco's network will start to fall apart - dissention from within - and people will be more outspoken about the abhorrent acts over the past four years.

dave225 (Dave225), Wednesday, 3 November 2004 16:27 (twenty-one years ago)

Yeah Ralph Nader is totally responsible for the ineptitude of the Democratic Party and the stupidity of the average working class American.

guuide, Wednesday, 3 November 2004 17:58 (twenty-one years ago)

"stupidity of the average working class American"
