Why is there no democratic analogue of the "Young Republicans?"

Maybe some Ilxor who has lived in the UK and the US could have a TS: Young Republicans vs. Young Conservatives. I imagine they're both pretty insufferable.

I think the college republicans tend to be more "in your face." The strident left-wingers on campus tend to go for more radical groups than the democrats, but maybe that will change.

I'm trying to decide if I hate Redneck Republicans more or Young Republicans more...

I hate redneck republicans because they ign'ant.
I hate college republicans because they're smug. And they aren't billionaires, so all of the republican economic ideals really don't apply to them while they're in college .. but they aspire to be billionaires, so they toe the line.

Even as an upper-middle class white kid, I could never put personal fortune above the general welfare.
