I'm staying in Stanley with one of my best friends. I think we're going for a Mexican in Wakey on Friday, then hitting the nitespots of Leeds on Saturday - no idea where though. Last time it was Babycream and other bars whose names I don't remember.

My weekend will be spent painting my hall and bedroom so the only going out i'll be doing is visiting B&Q if i run out of paint. Hopefully we'll get it finished this weekend, i can't face another sunny day spent inside inhaling gloss fumes.

I've a really full weekend, unusually for me. Besides the usual household stuff, I am playing tennis on Saturday afternoon, going to a friend's birthday party in the evening, then meeting friends at lunchtime on Sunday, and probably staying out with them the rest of the day. I did intend some serious writing too, but don't think I'll have the time.

Tennis when I come to the following morning, then a brief period of sleep before a burlesque night called Kinki on Saturday. i like city island a lot. you may find the touristy seafood restaurants corny but i think you'll like the rest of the island -- craggy victorian houses and mom 'n' pop stores. you should also explore pelham bay park if you haven't already.
