A few days back I was having conversations with the same person over MSN Messenger and Yahoo Messenger simultaneously.

What absolutely asinine combos of things have you done at the same time?

that's not pointless at all... MSN and Yahoo! have different smilies.

Having AOL chat and groupboard drawing whilst being on the phone with the same person is the best thing ever.. almost as close as being in person without being there. (obv you can do better still if you have a video phone as well)
