But at least we were able to get him to post rough mixes on the internet:

After that, I listened to "Other People's Suicides", and I didn't like it so much because it sounded like the first song. It was a bit cheeky. I do like the keyboards but I wouldn't want to listen to them day in day out. I didn't like the lyrics so much, also.
Then I listened to "Christina Rossetti", because I like her, especially that poem with the fruit. It sounded like the first one, but not as much as the second one. A lot of reverb. In the last five seconds, the singer sounds like Jarvis Cocker.

Eyeball Kicks, I could have used you on my download pimping-thread, I got next to zero actual feedback on the tunes (and I don't just mean from ILX). I don't mind negative crit, which most people are too nice to give I guess.

'Every Day a Battle' was much more like it. The drums at the beginning sounded like a support band playing to a mostly empty room. It was exactly that sound, and I don't know how you got it. The snare! Then I liked very much the brass, and wished it would get noisier and more extravagent. Then someone started speaking & they sounded a bit under the weather. I tend not to like speaking in songs much, unless the speaker has something really clever to say. I don't know if your speaker did, cos I got distracted. I would like even more brass.

Oh, and I didn't mean by 'I got distracted' that I got bored. I was distracted by someone leaping into the room!
