"Perfect Hair Forever": did I hallucinate this?

So I thought Adult Swim was going to be premiering Squidbillies and instead we get 15 minutes of dadaist faux-anime that is kind of funny but mostly pointless, and then 15 minutes of blood and violence and shark vagina references and Space Ghost getting his hands shot off and then Meatwad is forced to wear Space Ghost's severed head as a hat and was that the weirdest half-hour of television ever shown on a mainstream cable network? Because I don't think I'm going to sleep well.

Holy shit! There's got to be a torrent for this somewhere...

You did not hallucinate this.

So after that demented Space Ghost thing (which was one of the funniest things I've ever seen) there was a message saying something like:
"Still there? Did you get the joke we sent you? And now Squidbillies"

*commercial break*

then something like:
"Here's what happened to Squidbillies. We lost the tape. Actually, we painted ourselves into a corner and lost interest and got interested in something else. Wish you could have seen it. It was really funny. Funnier than that stuff we just showed you."

WTF?

OK, I think I get it. There's another "new show" "premiering" next week. We'll see what happens...
