Find another job before you quit. Unless you are loaded in which case quit it!

Hmm, I've been debating just leaving my job after the first of the year. I can collect a pension (around $8000) and live off that for a while. I've had enough of my job for quite some time now and am really getting down about it. I am searching for a new job now, but haven't had a damn phone call from anywhere. WHich makes me feel like im going to be stuck here forever.

Wait for the employer to tell you that you are performing poorly otherwise you could be doing fine and just being very critical of yourself.

In fact, you can ask your manager for an honest assessment of your performance and they might say you're brlliant.

Don't quit til you know what you want to do next.

Don't quit. Just get sacked. Makes the whole decision easier.

Saw this on a poster and it still rings true.

1) Enjoy Your Work.
2) Makes Lots of Money.
3) Stay Within the Law.

Pick only two of the above.

Are you sure you don't like your job? Because you don't post to ILx nearly enough to claim that kind of boredom.

I've considered this, but I'm hoping I'll keep getting better at the job.
