"Both heads eat and sometimes they start on the same piece of food and meet in the middle."

it's like a metaphor for something. but i can't decide what.

it's probably something to do with sex though.

...or how much of an accident life is...

Jimmy Mod always makes friends with women before bedding them down (ModJ), Saturday, 13 November 2004 02:34 (twenty-one years ago)

no, i just realised it was a metaphor for our own inadequacies in the face of the might and wisdom of tortoises.

that might need a little work, though.

d.arraghmac, Saturday, 13 November 2004 02:37 (twenty-one years ago)

Why did they choose to photograph it on top of another tortoise - or worse, a tortoise shell? I mean, I know he's a monster, but only a baby one.

Kevin Gilchrist (Mr Fusion), Saturday, 13 November 2004 02:38 (twenty-one years ago)

Maybe with his 'Superpower' he killed the larger tortoise and is now posing over his kill.

Kevin Gilchrist (Mr Fusion), Saturday, 13 November 2004 02:42 (twenty-one years ago)

Yes! he has used both of his brains to outthink the larger specimen, and is now humping his prey furiously.

d.arraghmac, Saturday, 13 November 2004 02:49 (twenty-one years ago)

Damn, lets hope they can agree on a few things. No, I want the left side. I don't care if you feel like sunning yourself today, I'm going swimming in that swamp over yonder and shag a few boxers. That does it: I'm moving out. What? You haven't paid this month's rent you impetuous slob.

jim wentworth (wench), Saturday, 13 November 2004 03:08 (twenty-one years ago)

wasn't there a thread from someone about that already?

d.arraghmac, Saturday, 13 November 2004 03:09 (twenty-one years ago)

I don't know - there were no threads with 'tortoise' in the title, so I posted it.

Kevin Gilchrist (Mr Fusion), Saturday, 13 November 2004 03:10 (twenty-one years ago)

nah, about That does it: I'm moving out. What? You haven't paid this month's rent you impetuous slob. someone not doing dishes, anal sex on white leather couch type of thing.

d.arraghmac, Saturday, 13 November 2004 03:11 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh okay. Carry on.

Kevin Gilchrist (Mr Fusion), Saturday, 13 November 2004 03:15 (twenty-one years ago)

no, no..carry on is different again. funnier than woody allen though.

d.arraghmac, Saturday, 13 November 2004 03:17 (twenty-one years ago)

No, it really isn't.

Kevin Gilchrist (Mr Fusion), Saturday, 13 November 2004 03:19 (twenty-one years ago)

well, wry, self deprecating two headed tortoises are. no argument.

d.arraghmac, Saturday, 13 November 2004 03:21 (twenty-one years ago)

Which one is John McEntire again?

Jordan (Jordan), Saturday, 13 November 2004 16:24 (twenty-one years ago)

% It's night time, and Bart sneaks to a unit of the matter transporter. He
% pushes the cat and dog into the unit at the same time. Lots of smoke comes
% from the unit, and we hear a buzzer indicated some kind of error on the
% matter transporter's half. The animals also bark and meow. From the smoke,
% a new form of animal emerges -- a dog-like body, but with both Santa's
% Little Helper and Snowball II's heads.

(looks at new animal, a dog-like body with Santa's Little Helper's head, and
Snowball II's head where his butt should be) Cooool, twice the pet and none of
the mess! (Out comes another creature, with two tails and no heads.) Ohhh,
ohhhh... you can be Lisa's.
