Has anyone been to Automatic Slims? (mentioned in a 1997 Let's Go) The Bowery Bar? (from StyleCity New York -- these sound touristy.)

The Bowery Bar can't be burned down soon enough.

Automatic Slims is fun....if you go on an unsuspecting weeknight. Otherwise, it's an irritating sardine can. I was once thrown out for trying to remove a framed photo of the New York Dolls from behind the bar. True story.

Did jess ever make it? I wish I had had the chance to introduce myself to Carey and felicity redwell and to find out whether or not S1m0n Reyn0lds really looks like a teenager.

I missed my train, so I am considering going to the Met to see Few Are Chosen: Street Photography and the Book and the musical instruments that are part of their permanent collection.

I wish I had said hi to you too! Felicity and I had just come from a traumatic bar (beer pong, anyone?) and I had been having bad transportation issues all night. It took me a couple of drinks to even decide to stay awake.

oh, yeah, beige. i was lured there a few months ago with the promise of free champagne, and it was totally worth it. getting drunk and giving dirty looks to and all the d&g-fags standing around trying to look like models. have you been?
