Does anyone else have any ideas for pubs that will let people do semi-acoustic sorts of things in their back/upstairs rooms and not charge a hire fee for the privilidge? I know they exist, I just don't know much about London pubs.

Starstock was supposed to be this big musical get-together featuring the musical output of the various bands whose members are all on this other Secret List that some of us are on.
It was going to be The Lollies (until our drummer went on holiday) and MJ Hibbert and the Validators (and I think the Validators are on holiday too) so then we decided to make it a semi-acoustic thing.
Lack of organisation has clearly scuppered the idea. Unless Chris has found us a venue, and that means that he can play, too.

Last time I was there was a Will Oldham theme night, where they showed Gummo with a soundtrack of continuous Oldham.
