today is November 14. November 23 I turn 30, gah. What should I do before then?

My primary mode of transport after next Tuesday will be wheelchair, whilst wearing a bulky sweater and a blanket over my legs to keep them warm. Before then, maybe I should do a few things.

Yes, I had no idea what that 30-13 bit meant, that's probably what I was thinking of. That said, I don't rate Jennifer Garner that highly, so you will be free from my advances at least. Are you really worried about turning 30?

not really. Actually, I don't think anyone knows I'm turning 30. I haven't really made a big deal of it with anyone. My parents are flying in from Illinois to stay at my place and usher my into what my father has called "their world", which apparently involves golf, Enya, and small-town politics.

Thanksgiving I'll be eating turkey at some friend's house, Saturday night (because my birthday falls on a Tuesday dammit) there is the possibility of drinking. Things are being arranged, out of my hands!

Lady Ms Lurex will be back in town from Arizona for those few days before returning to NZ, so there are plots afoot. Sounds like you'll be busy during some of those days at least avoiding grim specters, but will keep you informed regardless...
