"Oh, who cares?"

Er, dude, you. And me possibly. I dunno.

Bumfluff, Wednesday, 17 November 2004 14:30 (twenty-one years ago)

Why does this show bring a feeling of ghastly betrayal everytime it's on? This time it's Jane' Stree' Por'a, and I don't even *like* her.

Bumfluff, Wednesday, 17 November 2004 14:36 (twenty-one years ago)

I have no idea who at least four of those people are.

caitlin (caitlin), Wednesday, 17 November 2004 14:45 (twenty-one years ago)

Nor me. Nancy Sorrell?

NickB (NickB), Wednesday, 17 November 2004 14:48 (twenty-one years ago)

RJG (RJG), Wednesday, 17 November 2004 14:50 (twenty-one years ago)

Sheila Ferguson - one degree (of three)

mark grout (mark grout), Wednesday, 17 November 2004 14:51 (twenty-one years ago)

Sheila Ferguson was in the Three Degrees, Sophie Anderton is a model and drug type that used to go out with Mark Bosnich, Nancy Sorrell is a model and Vic Reeves' wife, and Fran Cosgrove is apparently a man what runs A-List nightclubs or summink. I'm A Celebrity 4 - because obviously Alex Best was the most entertaining.

William Bloody Swygart (mrswygart), Wednesday, 17 November 2004 14:53 (twenty-one years ago)

sophie anderton - underwear model who married that rich aristo guy

ambrose (ambrose), Wednesday, 17 November 2004 14:53 (twenty-one years ago)

oh, yeah, vic reeves' whatever.

RJG (RJG), Wednesday, 17 November 2004 14:56 (twenty-one years ago)

sophie anderton - underwear model who married that rich aristo guy

She got beaten up by Mark Bosnich (allegedly, I think) and used to take rather a lot of recreational substances. Isn't Fran Cosgrove him what spawned an Atomic Kitten sproglet (with Natasha Hamilton)? I like how they can't even get celebs now, they just have partners of celebs (Alex Best, Jeff Brazier if you count Jade as a celeb).

ailsa (ailsa), Wednesday, 17 November 2004 17:53 (twenty-one years ago)

Why Janet, why?

Anna (Anna), Monday, 22 November 2004 15:23 (twenty-one years ago)

The short piece I saw, Sheila Ferguson was telling all what to do and when, and everyone else nodding.

She will win, no doubt.

I'm less than excited so far.

mark grout (mark grout), Monday, 22 November 2004 16:52 (twenty-one years ago)

I can tell, so are you.

mark grout (mark grout), Tuesday, 23 November 2004 09:07 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm told that Janet's luxury item is a DIARY. A million guesses what she'll do with this when she gets knocked out. I hope they snooker her with a pen being a second luxury and therefore not allowed.

suzy (suzy), Tuesday, 23 November 2004 09:27 (twenty-one years ago)

hasn't this programme started?

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 23 November 2004 18:03 (twenty-one years ago)

C'mon people. Keep this updated. It's going to get interesting at some point yeah?

mark grout (mark grout), Wednesday, 24 November 2004 09:19 (twenty-one years ago)

Vic Reeves is going in to shag his lapdancing wife in front of the cameras in a "surprising" twist. Apparently.

ailsa (ailsa), Wednesday, 24 November 2004 18:20 (twenty-one years ago)

So Catterick isn't coming to BBC1 anytime soon then.

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Wednesday, 24 November 2004 22:20 (twenty-one years ago)

I saw the prog briefly last night. Some people wandered around. Then I found out that "Musicality" was on Ch4.

mark grout (mark grout), Thursday, 25 November 2004 09:13 (twenty-one years ago)

I am afraid that if I start watching this, I will not enjoy it any more.

The Lex (The Lex), Thursday, 25 November 2004 09:39 (twenty-one years ago)

That certainly bears out my experience.

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Thursday, 25 November 2004 10:46 (twenty-one years ago)

I saw Ant and Dec arrive through the jungle, then the camera angle changed and it was shit.

Puddin'Head Miller (PJ Miller), Thursday, 25 November 2004 11:14 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm with Mark. It's Musicality all the way. Except that annoyingly the people on Musicality are actually striving towards a specific goal, and they all seem to be fairly pleasant. What's the point of that in a reality show?

I caught the first two minutes of US Wife Swap on C4 the other night. It was hilarious! Portentous voiceover, people screaming and crying at each other, it all seemed very fraught. I couldn't watch it. And I quite like Wife Swap.

accentmonkey (accentmonkey), Thursday, 25 November 2004 11:21 (twenty-one years ago)

US Wifeswap was ace. The Manhatten husband was a proper patronising twat.

Anna (Anna), Thursday, 25 November 2004 13:42 (twenty-one years ago)

What's this about Vic Reeves going in? (in both senses)

sigh. will have to watch it tonight I guess.

mark grout (mark grout), Thursday, 25 November 2004 13:43 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh my goodness, are you watching this? I can't tell who to side with out of Nathalie and Sophie, they are both unbearable. Natalie's screaming "I can't feeeeeeel you babe" rant was the most embarassing thing I have ever seen on TV. Sheila is awful.

Cathy (Cathy), Thursday, 25 November 2004 20:46 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm finding out something I never though possible, in that, out of a given group of people, I think Joe Pasquale is one of the most likeable ones.

ailsa (ailsa), Thursday, 25 November 2004 20:49 (twenty-one years ago)

Ha, Ailsa OTM. I've just remebered I had a dream about Joe Pasquale last night, in which he was speaking in a completely normal un-squeaky voice and I was saying "I always knew he was putting it on".

Cathy (Cathy), Thursday, 25 November 2004 20:55 (twenty-one years ago)

I had no idea Natalie Appleton was so annoying.

Cathy (Cathy), Thursday, 25 November 2004 22:10 (twenty-one years ago)

Vic Reeves seems to be just standing there.

Vic_Reeves = Not(dastardly or mutley)

mark grout (mark grout), Friday, 26 November 2004 09:37 (twenty-one years ago)

Brian Harvey has walked out. Apparently, he farted in front of JSP and she wouldn't shut up about it so he left. Plus "I really needed a fucking sandwich."

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Friday, 26 November 2004 15:11 (twenty-one years ago)

Haha, silly Brian.

Natalie Appleton was pretty awful last night. She really is a mentalist, isn't she? I couldn't quite work out what Sophie had done wrong, but maybe it was being edited in her favour. It certainly worked on the Bushtucker vote.

I don't like Vic Reeves being in there. In my mind, Vic is married to Bob, so when I see Jim snogging Nancy I come over a bit queasy.

Madchen (Madchen), Friday, 26 November 2004 15:45 (twenty-one years ago)

I can see the public voting for Natalie every time she's still in it just so the camp don't get any food. She really was pathetic last night, the Live Trial was car-crash telly at its best/worst. I particularly enjoyed Ant & Dec showing us how it would have worked had she not given up so early.

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Friday, 26 November 2004 16:00 (twenty-one years ago)

.. they only showed us the stuff as a favour to all the hardworking team that dug the pits and got the mess together, etc.

Ant was definitely losing patience before...

mark grout (mark grout), Friday, 26 November 2004 16:02 (twenty-one years ago)

New favourite moment of the series:

Natalie "I'm going to be sick!"
Ant "Good."

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Friday, 26 November 2004 16:07 (twenty-one years ago)

Nat has walked off.

I do think she has a point, mind.

mark grout (mark grout), Monday, 29 November 2004 15:38 (twenty-one years ago)

quiet.

mark grout (mark grout), Tuesday, 30 November 2004 14:43 (twenty-one years ago)

flog flog flog neigh

mark grout (mark grout), Tuesday, 30 November 2004 16:17 (twenty-one years ago)

Horse still alive there, Mark.

Jesus Christ, Paraplegic (Mark C), Tuesday, 30 November 2004 16:25 (twenty-one years ago)

Where do they get tanks of fly pupae? Is this something you can buy? Are one and a half million flies easy to come by?

Am I alone in suddenly like Janet?

Am I alone in thinking Sheila was going to get the boot last night?

Am I alone in this thread? Hello?

Rumpy Pumpkin (rumpypumpkin), Tuesday, 30 November 2004 16:26 (twenty-one years ago)

IT LIVES! IT WALKS! IT SAYS "EURGH SPIDERS!"

mark grout (mark grout), Tuesday, 30 November 2004 16:27 (twenty-one years ago)

'I touched a tree!' Get a grip bitch. Not to Nat - you can't hide sticky out ears in the jungle.

Rumpy Pumpkin (rumpypumpkin), Tuesday, 30 November 2004 16:31 (twenty-one years ago)

'I touched a tree!' Get a grip bitch.

Rumpy Pumpkin (rumpypumpkin), Tuesday, 30 November 2004 16:31 (twenty-one years ago)

Can we please quit it with the idiot celebrity worship?
most of these people did nothing to deserve our attention other than suck a director's cock or show their tits on film.

Modern celebrity is such a crock, esp. when they can manufacture one out of any asshole lucky enough to fall into their favour.

trigonalmayhem (trigonalmayhem), Tuesday, 30 November 2004 16:33 (twenty-one years ago)

I wouldn't call it worship...

Rumpy Pumpkin (rumpypumpkin), Tuesday, 30 November 2004 16:41 (twenty-one years ago)

Vic out. Daily Star front page "I'm going to give him the best sex of his life":Nancy Sorrel.

What? Was she not bothered enough before?

mark grout (mark grout), Wednesday, 1 December 2004 10:33 (twenty-one years ago)

The wedding night was just a sham...

Rumpy Pumpkin (rumpypumpkin), Wednesday, 1 December 2004 11:14 (twenty-one years ago)
