Can't get any mail either via Entourage or Outlook Express - a new message pops up stating 'Payment Required.' Anyone else experiencing this?

Microsoft being evil? What a shock.

Anyone remember when Microsoft took over Hotmail and announced it wouldn't change the quality of service? I do.

Not that I'm surprised. Microsoft is a business after all.

Fuckers. Seriously.

That doesn't seem to be an incredibly logical explanation in that there article there.

Of course it's logical. 'Spammers are using our service, therefore we're making everyone pay for it.' Perfectly sensible.

In order to stop people dropping leaflets into my letterbox, I've set up toll booths at each end of the street. Thanks Microsoft!

Microsoft added the ability for certain email clients to access Hotmail, and now they're taking it away. The level of service that was available before they bought it is still there. (and if anything it has improved)

Hahaha yes well perhaps Microsoft and I have different definitions of logic.

True, but it made quite a few claims it broke within the first year.

haha, poor old hotmail.

I've basically stopped using Hotmail anyway, despite the carrot of 250mb memory they just gave me for no reason.

hotmail sucks. i pay £20 a year for my hotmail addy but over the summer 50% of my emails would never reach their destination. so i joined gmail and i have never looked back.
