Anybody else see this yet? Along with his request for help on supporting the legislation, there's also a 60-90 sec vid where he gives a slight hint as to a possible change in Democratic language, talking about how our "values & principles are under attack."

The next 2-3 months are gunna be fuckin' interesting and tense enough to make ya wanna pull your hair out. LORD how i hope they put Dean in a prominent position.

also, i'm reticent to admit this, but it _is_ still kinda painful to watch the vid. so many hopes of what might have been.

also, we are truly living In The Future, since we're actually using "vid" in place of "video", like so many trashy 80's sci-fi projects thought we would.

We are living in the past, 1984, when Alex and his droogs would viddy such cal with like glints in their glazzies.

Anyway, my vellicheks...

I like the strategy behind this. Let the Bushies go onan on with their mandate crap, quietly count the votes, make bill proposal that can be spun as THINK ABOUT THE CHILDREN, get a large section of the public to pay attention to process (aka the realities of being a senator) because he's pointing out that, uniquely, the public are direct sponsors of this bill.

One thing Kerry could be doing, if this is to be framed as a war of morals, is not to talk about 'taking back' certain values from the Reps because it should be made clear that they never owned them in the first place.
