now that they're putting lights in the trees and playing Christmas music in the malls, NOW what do you look like?

i see what you mean about the books Kenan.

jed_ (jed), Sunday, 21 November 2004 04:12 (twenty-one years ago)

There is no place in my apartment to take a picture without books in it.

Kenan (kenan), Sunday, 21 November 2004 05:00 (twenty-one years ago)

'k. Photoshop fixed my scary shadow mullet. Six posts in, and already I'm being ridiculously vain.

Kenan (kenan), Sunday, 21 November 2004 05:35 (twenty-one years ago)

WHERE DID ALL THAT HAIR COME FROM OMG KENAN??

(yes I am hyper jealous - I took a pic of myself last night to post to y'all and I looked like a sad pale raisin)

Ol' prune face (Mark C), Monday, 22 November 2004 11:15 (twenty-one years ago)

I think I only post pictures of myself on here to upset myself, but here I am looking quite jowly this past Saturday in our shiny new arena:

Bryan (Bryan), Monday, 22 November 2004 11:25 (twenty-one years ago)

You just posted that to make Orbit hot, right?

Ol' prune face (Mark C), Monday, 22 November 2004 11:29 (twenty-one years ago)

Eh, I think Huk's got her covered as far as teh sexy Canadians with their sexy citizenships go.

Bryan (Bryan), Monday, 22 November 2004 11:32 (twenty-one years ago)

a new arena with no one to play in it? i hate the NHL right now.

NickB (NickB), Monday, 22 November 2004 11:46 (twenty-one years ago)

I understand why you want one of those, Chris. Our arena is kinda funny. It's tough to see in that picture but the upper deck is semi-permanently closed off with black curtains and our AHL team only sells a bit under 9,000 tickets per game. They've been selling out since the building opened so I don't know why they don't open up those seats. There's been some talk about having an NHL team again since we have a suitable barn for one now but it'll never happen.

Bryan (Bryan), Monday, 22 November 2004 11:48 (twenty-one years ago)

aaawww!!!
x-post

Cathy (Cathy), Monday, 22 November 2004 11:50 (twenty-one years ago)

Bring back the Jets. How are you Canadians taking this NHL outage? Not many Americans care obviously, but there are a select few like me who do.

Big Baby Bingo (Chris V), Monday, 22 November 2004 11:51 (twenty-one years ago)

i have just purchased a digital camera, and will soon be able to post some new pics.

here is one from a party in toronto last year:

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Monday, 22 November 2004 11:51 (twenty-one years ago)

i am quite drunk in that photo, hence the silly wink attempt.

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Monday, 22 November 2004 11:52 (twenty-one years ago)

The look on that baby's face is priceless!

"Omigod! You were the walrus??!!"

Tuomas (Tuomas), Monday, 22 November 2004 11:53 (twenty-one years ago)

He's easily startled by over-excitable adults!

NickB (NickB), Monday, 22 November 2004 11:56 (twenty-one years ago)

Since we don't have a team here I think most of us could care less, plus a lot of NHL players are playing in the A for now so the play is better (our team is a Canucks farm team so we have some of them right now). Until the NFL season is over I don't really follow any other sports anyway.

Bryan (Bryan), Monday, 22 November 2004 12:16 (twenty-one years ago)

Are you and the baby in a PUB, Nick?

Archel (Archel), Monday, 22 November 2004 13:16 (twenty-one years ago)

the baby just had a sip of beer! *burp*

wot beautiful brown eyes you have maria (and keep the glasses)

Roger Fidelity (Roger Fidelity), Friday, 26 November 2004 04:25 (twenty-one years ago)

I like the glasses three!

57 7th (calstars), Friday, 26 November 2004 04:28 (twenty-one years ago)

The second picture confused me...I thought you had just blowna hole through the wall, and were peering through with a torch. The striped top probably added to the bank robber impression. Very cool pictures, Maria.

Kevin Gilchrist (Mr Fusion), Friday, 26 November 2004 04:31 (twenty-one years ago)

i dislike my glasses a lot, actually. also, they get in the way of the viewfinder when i use my cameras, which is why i wear contacts all the time.

kevin: the flash in the mirror is my homage to the cover for "the best of blondie" where debbie harry holds the flash in her hand.

maria tessa sciarrino (theoreticalgirl), Friday, 26 November 2004 04:44 (twenty-one years ago)

Yes, of course - I knew it reminded me of something.

Kevin Gilchrist (Mr Fusion), Friday, 26 November 2004 04:46 (twenty-one years ago)

Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains), Friday, 26 November 2004 06:27 (twenty-one years ago)

do you live in teh depressing future?

Snush = Snow + Slush (x Jeremy), Friday, 26 November 2004 06:32 (twenty-one years ago)

Which one? The one where Bush is re-elected or the one where the leaves still haven't been raked?

Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains), Friday, 26 November 2004 06:44 (twenty-one years ago)

hah, I was being a dick. As a part-time gaffer, I am inclined to critique lighting temperature when slightly drunk. Following the Terminator/Matrix/aesthetic, I associate blue-grey tones with malevolent futures. Your picture as actually quite nice in its own right, but given my dumbass preoccupation with movies makes me feel mildly mopey. W3rd!

Snush (x Jeremy), Friday, 26 November 2004 06:48 (twenty-one years ago)

If my life was a Steven Soderbergh movie, it would definitely be in Detroit or Ohio.

Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains), Friday, 26 November 2004 06:52 (twenty-one years ago)

Seriously. But, actually, where are you?

Snush (x Jeremy), Friday, 26 November 2004 06:53 (twenty-one years ago)
