You must have some loooooong streets in the USA. In the UK it's a novelty if the numbers get past 500. I have never seen one past 1000. The longest street I know of in the UK, is Cannock Road in Wolverhampton which goes up to 899 (and I have actually delivered stuff to the people who live there :)). There must be higher though?

Not sure about the UK, but here street numbers start again when the street enters a different suburb. I don't believe this is the case in the US, which is why even small towns can have numbers in the tens(?) of thousands.
