Two years ago, your hero Vin Diesel put together his own game company. Their first game was a tie-in to _Chronicles of Riddick_, and is apparently REALLY good(surprising for a licensed game).

According to the Wikipedia, Diesel is a big D&D nerd.

Yeah, Riddick was Observer joint game-of-the-year, amazingly! Has anyone played it?

Riddick is AWESOME. It's set in a prison and most of it involves shiv-fights and killing guards with a rusty wrench. VERY immersive.

the real funny part is that there is an eastside Seattle area gaming company called M*n*l*th whose CEO is basically a Diesel wannabe, before Tigon came to be.

The Riddick game is a lot of fun, best looking game I've played on a console. It hops from fps-type to fps-type, ie stealth to full action to FedEx mission. Maybe 10-12 hours of gameplay, definitely worth a rental.
