hey roxy, do you have carla's number? let's call her up and do the old-citay! ken i can't BELIEVE you didn't come down the hill last week, i was here the whole damn time! bored off my ass!! the incredibly cool picture of somebody's trouser leg almost makes up for it but damn dude. i would have given anything to see you playing dance dance revolution at west town mall. or had a picture of us hanging out with my parents. ken c on foster lane, a once in a lifetime moment.

i hope you like the christmas lights, roxy. the tree on the left just as you come down the lane is called "fat albert," fyi. my father's very proud of it, in a homer simpson kind of way.

you guys should do the old city pub crawl!! it's recommended. there's a really nice and bored waitress at the urban bar.

ugh. i'm so fucking jetlagged. just woke up from finally getting a 6 hour nap.

i remember driving thru downtown knoxville with two thoughts:

1) what an ugly-ass univeristy campus(all shitty concrete modernist arch)
2) that i knew exactly where the cool part of town was, mainly from seeing the flyers on the different bar doors while we drove past.

still, here's hoping that there's a decent movie theater around here, so my bro & i can go catch "Life Aquatic" on sunday.

Yeah. He dropped his drawers during a free public show in Market Square sometime in the fall and got a talking to from Knoxville's finest. But anyway, pantsed or not, Teenage Love would be fun. It's only their 2nd show in 15 years or something. I wish I was there for it.

I'm coming back around New Year's but I have to write 500 words a day for two weeks (something I've already done, but not to my dept.'s satisfaction GRR). Winter spring summer or fall, all you have to do is call.. on me at the business library at 39th St because that's where I'll be until the middle of January.

it looks like fun this year. there's a DFA/Beat Junkies party at APT, peaches/fannypack/misshapes/WIT/h3nry-from-ass-four thing at tribeca, minimal techno thing at cafe deville, some ghostly boys at subtonic, and some indie thing in bklyn, and of course theres always motherfucker (dan selzer is playing)
