Funniest man in history, surely?

God no.

A classic example of someone doing something easy, well. To be followed by millions of arseholes doing the same easy thing, very badly.

Oh man, come on - he's a genius!

Ceezar, Thursday, 23 December 2004 09:56 (twenty years ago)

Well, he did what he did, no-one else was, and now he has influenced many. So if that's genius, then fair enough.

I saw one of his progs (painted lesbs on his dad's car), and was impressed by his um panache I suppose. But never wanted to see more.

Just for the record, Freddy Got Fingered is amazingly funny.

The only episode of Jackass I saw all of, was about some cross-wherever rally. It was very interesting. I didn't realise until some time later that that episode was totally atypical.

Ceezar, Thursday, 23 December 2004 10:05 (twenty years ago)

The best Jackass ever is the movie, where the guy does the yellow snow cone!

Pointless, stupid and I thought I was going to have a heart attack I was laughing so hard.

Ceezar, Thursday, 23 December 2004 10:19 (twenty years ago)

is tom green in the movie.

I still find TG kind of funny. That is, I find old episodes of his show to still be funny.
Or Mike Bullard whenever Tom was on!
The best was when he managed to sneak the painting into the museum - say what you will about most of his stuff but that was truly brilliant.

four months pass...
Whuh?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 9 May 2005 19:38 (twenty years ago)

"It is time for me as an artist, and a human being, to dig deep down into my soul and be completely honest," Green reflected. "For the past several years I have grappled with a hidden truth. Now, it is finally my time to be honest. It is time for me to be honest with the public, with my friends, with my family, and most importantly, with myself. I am a rapper."

Wait, so this is just one big failing joke, right?

Tom Green: Spastic or Utterly Spastic?

I await the D-Block/Tom Green beef with open arms.

Alan Conceicao (Alan Conceicao), Monday, 9 May 2005 23:20 (twenty years ago)

He's just like Snow, isn't he?

Leon Federline (Ex Leon), Monday, 9 May 2005 23:21 (twenty years ago)

Only without the elan.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 9 May 2005 23:22 (twenty years ago)

The lesbians on his Dad's car was like my one and only exposure to him, I larfed so hard. I decided the best course of action was to avoid any further viewing at all costs, and I have, hurrah.

Only without the elan.
and without the cred, eh?

Apparently the 'my bum is on your lips' line in 'The Real Slim Shady' is about Tom Green:

Gonzo comic Tom Green says he's paying tribute to Eminem on his upcoming goofy rap album. 'I might title it after one of the songs called 'My Bum Is On Your Lips,' says Green, explaining that 'I did a song called 'The Bum Bum Song' when I was on MTV where I was running around in a funny Superman costume singing 'My bum is on this, my bum is on that.' Then Eminem did a song where he was running around in the same costume saying 'My bum is on your lips, my bum is on your lips' and it's cool for Tom Green to hump a dead moose on MTV. I thought it was kind of cool he was rapping about me, so I did another song based on that.' Other inspiring tunes Green is including on the CD are 'I'm An Idiot,' which sounds semi-autobiographical, and what's sure to become a national school anthem around the country, 'My Teacher Sucks.'
