Forest in Edinburgh?

What on earth does that mean?

KeithW (kmw), Monday, 27 December 2004 17:48 (twenty-one years ago)

is a club / cafe / church

Oh... Right...

Thought you meant the trees thing.

Is that the kind of vegetarian/hippy/cafe thing where they play music and don't sell booze? Somewhere up Tollcross I think. I was going to go there one night but didn't make it. I was at a party a couple of years ago where the bloke who I believe runs it was DJing; he was very good too and played plenty of good stuff.

Aha - I think I know what you are on about. It used to be down at the Grassmarket, but it is now up near the University, on the other bit next to Forest Road (If you face the Bedlam theatre, it is on the left road, rather than the right).

A haven for eco-warriors, they sometimes put on some decent music nights.

That's right; it used to be just down from Christie's heading towards Grassmarket...

What a cryptic thread.

I can't believe forrest furnishings doesn't have a website.

Couldn't agree more. It's time the furnishings business dragged itself into the e-business era.
