Help me think up Movie Night themes!

So this local bar I frequent shows projected movies every Tuesday night, the movies following a monthly theme. I noticed they were picking crap themes and no one was coming, so I offered to take over the planning and advertising bit and step it up, cause I think it could be cool. Help me think up genius monthly themes and 4 movies to go with 'em!

roxymuzak (roxymuzak), Monday, 27 December 2004 21:28 (twenty-one years ago)

Some of the things I immediately thought of are too weird, like Movies in Which Brother and Sister Make Out (or something), or too depressing to accompany boozing it up with friends.

Rock Documentaries month might be cool.

I wanted to do something that would get Interstella shown, not sure.

roxymuzak (roxymuzak), Monday, 27 December 2004 21:31 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm considering an Owen Wilson tribute month.

roxymuzak (roxymuzak), Monday, 27 December 2004 21:38 (twenty-one years ago)

How about a Stephen Tobolowsky tribute month?

Airport/Airplane
Manhattan/Kissing Jessica Stein
Reservoir Dogs/Swingers
The Lady Vanishes/North By Northwest
The Third Man/Before Sunrise

if you want movies on themes just plug any movie into allmovie.com and click on the keywords to find similarly-themed ones

gabbneb (gabbneb), Monday, 27 December 2004 22:29 (twenty-one years ago)

Movies with Harvey Keitel's Penis

Ewan McGregor's penis is quite easy to locate in movies, yes? And then you get to show Shallow Grave and Velvet Goldmine.
