got my girlfriend a pedro almodovar DVD boxset because i wanted to watch them all. not that she isnt a fan, she is, but i just wanted them all the same. i know this is wrong, but we're both happy and she hasnt seen through it yet.

haha, my roommate's brother does this all the time. he always buys her like rare anime toys and shes like uhh wtf. and they just end up in his possession somehow. once he got her a nice keyboard (musical) and 6 months alter was like, "do you use your keyboard much? can i have it?"

my sister's boyfriend just did this on a monumental level. he bought her the mammoth Alien/Aliens etc DVD box set for her xmas present, but shes not even a fan!
