Okay, I guess.

The first thing I remember about 2005 is thinking I saw a fox out of the window, but it was really a cat chasing a squirrel down the road. I'm sure Eastern philosophy would provide some deeper meanings to this.

Also, Spurs won 5-2, which is not be sniffed at.

2005 feels like it has its own personality already - there's been no fannying around. I feel like I've met more new people in the course of the last few days than I did over the past three months. Things feel like they might be changing socially as well, for the better. I can see what could potentially be a nice new group emerging.
There's a faint possibility of a new job on the horizon.

Basically, I'm full of New Year blank slate style optimism that even having to go back to work tomorrow can't spoil. And Spurs won 5-2.

started very up, then went very down, then went very up indeed, and last night was nice.

the missus and i discussed how we feel like we're already married during an 11 hour car drive on sunday. it was lovely, because i'd been feeling alittle insecure lately. she said, if we win the lottery the first thing i'd do is marry you. i thought even the idea would scare her shitless, but no. ahhh...

got lots of paying work done the last couple of days, and have a couple of very exciting, well-paid projects lining up. and the next issue of my labour of love, loose lips, is shaping up nicely, and i should have some bitchen guest-lecturers for the sourse i run this semester. and we finally got some more w33d, yeah!!
