What's the opinion on these offerings? I've only had two. The spicy chicken soft taco which I find pretty decent and, just now, the grande soft taco which was horrible. I was assuming via the name that it would be a burrito-sized soft taco but instead it was normal-sized with *lower* quality meat and an extra tortilla glued to the outisde with a patch of gooey cheese. wtf??

The other items frighten me now.

(nb, if you would just like to rail on about how tbell isn't really mexican food, blah blah then go here please, thx.)

taco bell is my dark master. i usually ask for a few crunchy tacos, with extra sour cream. i think it is a combo deal. also, the mexican pizza has its good points, but needs more sour cream as well. and it should be eaten quickly or it will become a soggy inedible mess.

Okay, so now that taco bell has RAISED THE PRICES on their value menu, they are not going to get much of my money anymore. The double decker tacos & 1/2lb bean burritos were good deals at $0.99, but not at $1.29. Also, the "sour cream" type stuff in the bean burrito grandes is kind of gross; it's got a weird consistency, and slightly 'off' taste.

That said, classic are: 7 layer burrito, original bean burrito (no gross sour cream stuff), chicken tacos, meximelt, enchirito, mexican pizza and original tacos.

I've never been a big fan of their sauce packets; putting on preferred hot sauce makes the tacos way better.

Taco Bell long ago passed into some sort of Demolition Man, Open-All-Night, plastic stoner delicacy establisment, but bringing bacon and potatoes on to the menu, it's like they're denying their faux-Mexican food roots completely.

I'm looking forward to their 2014 offerings of bacon, potatoes, hot dog, sour cream and raisins wrapped in a waffle cone.
