the host, turd ferguson, is horrible. the set is total crap. i blame conan for the fact that i have watched this twice now, as his monday night and tuesday night shows were reruns. did anyone else suffer through this?

seven months pass...

once you get over being super-annoyed by the accent and past the self-aware-fish-out-of-water-ness, the dude's pretty consistently funny, and sometimes more so than conan. i don't think i've ever watched one of his interviews tho.

The self-aware fish out of water schtick is like the best part of the thing! the interviews are probably the worst to ever grace network television(c-list celebrities simply running roughshod over his dignity...at least there's an "order" and regimen to Leno's asskissing) but he's likeable at least.
