i tells u what i found the 'post split' lennon interview tapes circa 1970 on slsk (20 minutes of them) and he's way more bitter and angrier than goldman or any portrait ever made out. u only get *hints* of that thru ANTHOLOGY and the playboy stuff, but boy... i was shocked at the truth of it all. and the *language*!!

I used to be hardcore into Beatlegs for a while. The well really dried up in the late 90s tho. I think the last one I got was a casette recorded left on the mixing desk while they were rehearsing a mammoth 10+ minute version of "Revolution", with Yoko Ono talking to somebody over the whole thing.
Does anyone know of any good ones (real) that have come out recently? I just tuned out after "The John Barrett Tapes" 7 CD box set. (Which had 6+ cds of 'alternate stereo mixes' and a good 2 or 3 actual unreleased songs...)
