A friend of mine hand made me this incredible little NES controller purse-bag thing. I wish I had a pic of her skull and cross needles logo to post.

I guess I don't know how that pertains to anything though.

Yarn blogs are the only blogs I read (except those of my friends). Better than music blogs!!

My friend started working at her mom's shop, called Dunwoody Yarn, last year, and she tells us so much drama that goes on there it's not even funny. Well, it kinda is actually. Old ladies coming in and bugging customers and hanging around all day and asking if they can get discounts and stuff. It's like a hip place to hang out.

Not to mention a lot of girls I know (20-somethings mostly) have suddenly gotten into pulling out yarn and knitting away at a scarf whenever they're hanging out.

Yarn/Knitting is SO in right now.

The hotpants are hot! Also: really, whatever happened to the days of shots of girls in tiny shorts on bicycles? Such erotic innocence is evidently lost to us now.

nabisco (nabisco), Friday, 7 January 2005 19:58 (twenty years ago)

Didn't that seventies sexy style of photography make a comeback in photography and magography a few years back?

Ken L (Ken L), Friday, 7 January 2005 20:08 (twenty years ago)

With bicycles and everything?

No man, the stylists always overlook something. Even in movies, albeit less frequently. Except maybe in The Ice Storm.

My friend Ang has been making a ton of amazing crocheted animals and oher strange beasties recently. Theyre fabulous. I wish I had the dexterity and patience to knit.
