does anyone know this ...
i've sold three things on ebay (nobody's paid yet - wot luck!) - but do i have to do anything on my end? i've got paypal, etc - asked them to pay through paypal -- but do i have to activate paypal to sell through paypal or anything? like am i screwing something up? err ... sorry am not being clear. just wondering. do i have to pay ebay fees before i collect any money.
i've trawled through paypal and ebay sites but found no answer!

Seems like the bottom has dropped out for anything that isn't kind of rare? I usually set records, DVDs etc. really low and let people bid but this doesn't seem to work so well as it used to.

Amazon marketplace seems even a little better, imho. You have to be patient and they take a big cut but at least you know what you're gonna get if someone buys

Because more people put more stuff onto ebay nowadays, the prices are going to stay low.

Reviving for another nuisance ebay question: Does anyone have any experience listing bootlegs?
In this case it's a nirvana cd. I got a firm reminder that ebay doesn't condone the selling of unofficial cds prior to listing but decided I would go
ahead and try to sell it among all the other nirvana et al bootlegs already listed.
a: how do they know it's a/might be a roio? Is this Courtney?
b: It's now an active listing on *my* ebay but if I search for it I, and presumably potential buyers, can't find it!
C'mon Courtney, I really need the fifty bucks.
