Oh dear.

It's Trigger Happy TV on the BBC, basically, except

1) Nothing actually works
2) No lightness of touch
3) other.

Anyone else see this? One bit made me laff (the old guy celebrating his birthday with a hooter, the first time).

the BBC have developed an extraordinary ability to completely suck the talent out of anybody who takes their money to do a show for their channels (see latest vehicles for Ardal O'Hanlon, Jessica Stevenson, Rob Brydon, Dom Joly, er...Natalie Casey...)

I dont think it was palpably worse than THTV its just that its a little insulting to be fed exactly the same material 4+ years later as if it be something new.

ok not 'talent-sucking' so much as just generating more poor comedy lately (including the rather over-rated Little Britain and Monkey Dust). Conveniently I have forgotten The Smoking Room (not bad but nowt special) and obv. The Office...

I know it was a bit crap, but it did make me laugh quite a bit - especially the one where the little gnome in a remote-controlled buggy went up to the couple in the field. But maybe that's just me.

The remote-control gnome had me in stitches. Apart from that, though, I definitely laughed less than when watching Trigger Happy TV.
