Butthead Lake?

WTF is this about?

To the Washington state Department of Natural Resources, it’s Bevis Lake.
In Census Bureau records, it’s Butthead Lake.
But Ken Brown, a land surveyor with the state, suspects somebody at the federal level decided to have some fun with the name of the lake northeast of Seattle.
He notes that U.S. Geological Survey maps also show the name as Bevis Lake.
Bevis and Butthead are almost identical to the 1990s MTV cartoon show of the same name, although the spellings are slightly different.
