How do I delete 'exact phrase' seraches?

all my Google searches pop up whenever I put anything in quotes. It's not only on Google, either - when I search for something on ILM, after I put the quotation mark, everything I've serched for on Explorer over the past year pops up. Not a huge deal, but I have privacy issues and this computer is shared.

How do I get rid of this?

Click on tools, then options, then contents and Auto complete to clear them. That is what I do and it seems to work. Mind you, I know next to nothing about this bloody machine.

I'm not sure but my guess is that Explorer pops up all previous searches that were done in a field with the same name (in this case "q", the value of ILX's name attribute in its keyword search field - which also happens to be the value of Google's name attribute for its search field.. no doubt it's a common name to call a search field), so you could either ask Andrew to change the name attribute to something unique, or you could.. use Firefox, which is maybe smarter about it somehow?

help with hard drive and google search Pc question ahhh!

I think it is autocomplete doing the thing with Google. Go to Tools/Options/Content/Autocomplete and clear forms and probably turn them off.

I thought you wanted to keep your old Google searches.
