I watched the trailer. It doesn't exactly give much away, does it? I agree that the contemporary/US setting is a shame. I note that it features the k-lame acting skillxz0rz of t0m cruise. Most likely this film will bring teh sukc then. Oh well.

I wonder how the other version with a 19th Century setting will compare? There's some footage up but it all looks pretty unfinished at the moment (no SFX yet either).
