It is January 11 and central PA finally has SNOW ON THE GROUND in a non-dandruff capacity for the first time this winter. It's beautiful! I missed it so. Usually this starts in November! Has the weather been this unseasonably warm everywhere else in the snow-prone U.S. or have we just been a freak area? I am totally ignorant, please inform.

It has been unseasonably warm, except for the time that we got a shitload of snow dumped on us. (Central Ohiya. Guess you just missed it.)

The West of Scotland is about to be blown away.

Yeah there was that week around Xmas where airports were closed to the west and to the east and it was merely nippy here.

The wind here (NW of England) is awesome at the moment, as I presume it is everywhere in blighty.

This is third time in about a week or so that it has snowed. I've overdosed on snow.

We've just had a mini blizzard! It's stopped now, but is forecast to continue later.
