I like the bass and the synth pads quite a bit. The orchestral-type stabs are lagging a bit. But whoah, the chicken-neck breakdown around 2:10 is kinda hot!

Because I rarely call attention to myself as "hilarious" even when it's self-mockery.

That said, all the rap I have recorded is significantly older than a couple years. It's not only embarrassing, but the vast majority of it features a voice I haven't had since before puberty.

Nah, like I said, that comment absolutely didn't come out the way I intended it... I just meant if I'd posted something like this I would have simply said "embarrassing." Maybe as retribution I shall digitize some of my very embarrassing rap songs recorded on a boom box circa 1987.

When I was in 9th grade I recorded an entire album that was at least half rap. Didn't have quite enough songs to fill a 60 minute tape, so I dropped a couple bonus tracks I had recorded a year or two before into the mix.

The thing originally got started because a friend of mine and I wrote and recorded a rap version of Romeo and Juliet as an English class project. It was five separate rap songs, one for each act of the play.

You want to talk about embarrassing? Act IV is rapped exclusively by my friend over my beatboxing, and the most noteworthy part of the song is the "mouth solo" I take about halfway through it. (Yes, "mouth solo!" is what my friend yells out right before I begin just like a lead singer going "guitar!" before the solo in a rock song)
